L'équipe de baseball de l'école de Jimmy s'entraine pour participer au championnat scolaire. Jimmy est le fils du gérant de la carrière. Son père le met en garde contre le danger que constituent les détonateurs. Lorsque le lanceur vedette de l'équipe de baseball et ses camarades trouvent un détonateur et décident de le faire exploser pour s'amuser, Jimmy prévient des adultes et évite ainsi un terrible accident. Grâce à lui, l'équipe de son école gagne le championnat de baseball !
